What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

  • Third level degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or other relevant discipline
  • Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and contribute to the team and organisation's goals and objectives
  • Familiarity with financial services, funds industry or risk management is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and data analytics tools is an advantage
  • Experience working in an office environment is an advantage

What is the role and your responsibilities?

  • Supporting the Group Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") team by assisting with ERM processes such as risk policies, risk registers, risk appetite, and other risk documentation
  • Gaining an understanding of the Group's Governance, Risk and Compliance ("GRC") Tool and supporting in maintaining risk information
  • Working with the Group ERM Team and Risk Champions to identify, manage, monitor, and address risks across the Group
  • Helping to identify the relevant risks and regulatory requirements relevant to the Group
  • Contributing to ERM operations, including projects and quality assurance
  • Building relationships with people within the different areas of Carne's business to enhance the profile and value of the Group ERM Team
  • Building trust and credibility with the business by demonstrating a professional approach
  • Building knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles
  • Developing a good understanding of management companies and the funds industry
  • Contributing to innovation within the Group ERM team with insights and ideas for a dynamic team
