Entry level Fund Operations & Projects Associate

Amazing opportunity for experienced fund professionals to join our Fund Platforms team based in Dublin. The Platform Projects Associate will manage a portfolio of funds, addressing day-to-day updates/changes to the funds as requested by the client. The role ensures updates are completed in line with legal, regulatory and fiduciary requirements as a management company, and aligned with Carne's Platform responsibilities as the overall product owner, providing exposure to learning beyond core operations.

Minimum requirements

  • University degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or Business.
  • Experience in the funds industry (UCITS and AIFs) is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are advantageous.
  • Strong experience interacting and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Role responsibilities

  • Adhere to procedures to ensure platform projects are taken on in a timely and risk-controlled manner.
  • Follow project checklists, maintain and track progress through the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with internal functions (Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Oversight, Financial Reporting, etc.).
  • Conduct initial due diligence on delegates where required and liaise with the appropriate teams to complete promptly.
  • Present structure changes to relevant boards for approval and resolve queries to support final sign-off from committees/boards.
  • Coordinate calls with all parties, manage deliverables and ensure closure of action points.
