Who are we looking for?
We are looking to hire an Entry-Level End User Workplace Engineer that will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the end user computing environment to ensure optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction. This includes tasks such as installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, providing technical support to end users, and managing user accounts and access controls.

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

  • University degree in relevant course.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Exposure to the following technologies would be an advantage:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Backup technologies (e.g., Barracuda, Veeam)
    • VOIP technologies (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Slack)

What is your role and your responsibilities?

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of end user computing solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and security tools.
  • Providing technical support to end users, including troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Managing user accounts and access controls, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and password management.
  • Ensuring the security and privacy of the end user computing environment, including implementing basic security controls and monitoring for security threats.
  • Collaborating with other teams in the organization to improve the end user experience.
  • Staying up to date with the latest technology trends and developments in end user computing.
  • Documenting processes and procedures for end user support.
