THE ROLE

Tesco Ireland is seeking to appoint a Line Manager for ______, responsible for supporting and leading a department and a team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and coach your team to ensure excellent service, standards, and product availability.
  • Achieve all key performance indicators for your departments.
  • Make daily decisions to support your team's success.
  • Implement the training plan, ensuring all colleagues are well-trained and have up-to-date training records.
  • Complete all processes, routines, and systems accurately and timely.
  • Plan seasonal, trade, and promotional activities to maximize sales and impact.
  • Ensure all safety and legal routines are followed, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Foster understanding of objectives, conduct regular reviews, and support career development through live PDPs.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to improve team skills.
  • Encourage behavioral improvements and confidence in team members.
  • Create an environment that promotes innovation and personal growth.
  • Model a customer-centric and colleague-friendly culture.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous management experience required.
  • Proven track record in delivering customer and colleague satisfaction.
  • Adaptability and agility in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience as a go-to person for departmental queries.
  • Ability to influence at senior levels; retail experience preferred.
