We are seeking a technically skilled and strategically minded individual to join the Reinsurance, Performance and Exposure Management Team as a Commercial Lines Exposure Management Lead. This role is critical in shaping Aviva's understanding of risk exposure across Commercial Lines and ensuring data-driven decision-making and support across reinsurance, capital modelling, and portfolio management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead exposure management for Commercial Lines, helping us understand and manage risk across Property, Casualty, and Specialty portfolios.
  • Support reinsurance, capital modelling, and portfolio management with accurate, insightful exposure data.
  • Deliver exposure insights and dashboards to senior leadership and ensure regulatory compliance under Solvency II.
  • Collaborate with teams across Underwriting, Claims, Risk, and Actuarial to ensure data quality and alignment.
  • Design and maintain realistic disaster scenarios and large loss analytics to inform business strategy.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in exposure management, catastrophe modelling, actuarial, or reinsurance analytics.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk drivers across Property, Casualty, and Specialty lines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience in Python or R and exposure modelling platforms (e.g., RMS, AIR) a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data governance, quality frameworks, and exposure data architecture is desirable.
  • Previous experience of Geo knowledge on Commercial Lines.
