The Senior Fund Accounting Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accounting books and records of its fund clients, acting as an intermediary between the funds and investment advisors, and preparing financial statements and regulatory reports for the funds.

What you'll do:

  1. Communicate with the funds' investment advisor.
  2. Calculate the funds' expenses and accruals.
  3. Process shareholder activity and reconcile to the funds' transfer agent.
  4. Maintain accounting records.
  5. Perform security and cash reconciliations.
  6. Ensure funds are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Calculate and report the funds' Net Asset Values (NAVs).
  8. Analyze changes in funds' values in relation to broader market fluctuations.
  9. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits as requested.
  10. Adhere to established departmental fund accounting procedures and controls.
  11. Meet client and investor reporting deadlines.
  12. Maintain good relationships with external clients and internal teams.
  13. Train, coach, and mentor team members where appropriate.
  14. Ensure compliance with the Company's Safety Statement for health, safety, and well-being.
  15. Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

What you will bring to the table:

  1. 12+ months experience in Fund operations, especially in Alternative Funds.
  2. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  3. Third-level qualification in Finance or Business.
  4. Experience in fund operations, particularly Private Equity funds.
  5. Knowledge of Advent Geneva and SunGard Investran systems.
  6. Understanding of the Investment (Financial) Services industry in Europe.
