Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a Financial Services firm to hire a Financial Accountant on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure monthly financial reporting and MI is prepared accurately and on a timely basis, adhering to our financial policies, procedures and controls.
  • Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with all relevant reporting standards and consistent with the policies approved by the board.
  • Ensure that working papers, and controls supplied by external administrators are reviewed and queried as appropriate.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly MI reports for distribution to board of directors.
  • Provide auditors with required information to allow them to complete annual audit.
  • Preparation of quarterly returns to the relevant regulators ensuring appropriate sign off and governance.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) - 0-2 years PQE.
  • Insurance accounting is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous FS/insurance experience from Audit or industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS, GAAP desirable.
