Duties

  • Pipette verification and coordination for OOU pipettes - checking verification schedule etc.
  • Small OOU equipment management i.e. vortex, pipettes, pipette guns etc.
  • BSC cleans
  • Logbook review
  • ARS reconciliation
  • Paperwork archiving
  • 6S
  • Autoclaving operation
  • Sodium hypo prep
  • Consumable rep / coordination
  • Co-ordination of shipments
  • Tracking complete of the growth promotion, managing the logbook
  • Raw material weigh outs
  • Autoclave cycle coordination (repack, and plan out when cycles are required to go on) - reach out to maintenance when there are issues.
  • Warehouse collections
  • Checks on training, SmartQC, comms of tier board red metrics
  • Training form reconciliation

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have a between 6 months and 2 years previous experience of working in Lab environments. Candidates with a background in, pharma food testing or academic lab demonstration will be considered for this role. A Level 6, 7 or 8 qualification in a scientific discipline. Candidates must be based within a commutable distance from Cork
