Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an AWS Cloud & Security Engineer based in Dublin with some work-from-home flexibility. The AWS Cloud & Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for cloud-based applications and systems. Daily tasks include monitoring security systems, conducting vulnerability assessments, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development and deployment processes.

Qualifications
  • Application Security, Network Security, and Cybersecurity skills
  • Experience in Security Engineering and Information Security
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty are a plus
