Senior, Digital UX Designer (6 month Contract)

Position Summary: As a Senior UX Designer, you will be part of an innovative initiative to transform experiences for colleagues, clients, and members. You will ensure product success and end-user satisfaction in a collaborative, lean, and agile environment. Your role involves taking a user-centered approach to design, educating teams on lean and agile processes, and leading products from discovery through delivery while maintaining a human-centered design perspective.

Responsibilities include:

  • Solve problems by understanding user needs to deliver impactful products and services.
  • Adopt a lean/iterative mindset, favoring conversations over extensive documentation.
  • Assist with all design dimensions: research, usability, information architecture, wireframes, visual design, CSS, HTML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, pairing with designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Embrace a Lean/Agile mindset, being adaptable and experimental.
  • Stay updated on UX/UI best practices and trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a UI/UX role.
  • 2+ years in at least one design pillar: user research, interaction, or visual design.
  • 1+ years working with Agile and lean methodologies.
  • 1+ years designing business or enterprise applications independently with stakeholders.
  • 1+ years leading product design from research to implementation.
  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure, InVision.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Material Design, HTML/CSS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience advocating UX within large organizations.
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Ability to prototype rapidly.
  • Willingness to present design topics internally.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Fine Arts, Computer Science, or similar. Equivalent experience considered.
