Overview

Embrace Community Services is hiring Social Care Workers for our children's residential house in Navan, Co. Meath. We are seeking applications from motivated Social Care Workers who have a passion for supporting people in the community and helping them to develop within their homes. The successful candidate will join a strong team and be overseen by a supportive management team. We aim to offer a strengths-based service focusing on residents' core interests and developing new skills, in a home setting with on-site amenities and opportunities for local engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide residents with guidance, support, training, and activities to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work as part of a team to support residents to live fulfilled and wholesome lives, learn new skills, and live independently where possible.
Essential Requirements
  • Holding or pursuing a Level 7 qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies (must be registered or eligible for CORU) OR
  • Holding a Nursing Degree (registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland - NMBI)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to accommodation-based services for vulnerable people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full driving licence
