I'm seeking an Offshore & FlexTech Manager to help shape the future of renewable energy by leading the commercial development of offshore wind, energy storage, hydrogen/e-fuels, low-carbon inertia solutions, and other next-generation technologies. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll take projects from concept to financial close, working at the forefront of the energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale renewable & flexible technology projects through the commercial development phase
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships and joint ventures
  • Secure routes to market, oversee auctions/tenders, and deliver winning bids
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts to achieve optimum business outcomes
  • Monitor time, cost, quality, scope, and risk to keep projects on track
  • Oversee budgets and forecasts, aligning resources with project schedules
  • Mentor and develop a skilled project & technology team, fostering innovation and collaboration
  • Ensure all work meets governance, compliance, and safety standards

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline (postgraduate an advantage)
  • 10+ years' experience in energy or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects to successful completion
  • Technical understanding of grid planning, development, and operation
  • Strong commercial acumen in budget control, procurement, contract negotiation, and resource optimisation
  • Experience engaging with regulators, grid operators, and key industry stakeholders
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is desirable
