A multinational manufacturing client in Kildare has a newly created Commercial Finance Manager role based in Kildare (hybrid) on a permanent basis, offering an excellent package in the €80,000 - €90,000 range plus a 15% bonus. In this role, you will support the group's financial performance by providing financial insights and guidance across various operational areas. Due to the industry nature, previous manufacturing experience is required.

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Manager

  1. Prepare and deliver accurate financial forecasts and partner with key stakeholders.
  2. Manage financial processes across the plant.
  3. Maintain an internal control system to safeguard financial information.
  4. Drive operational excellence.
  5. Lead the Cost Performance Tracker process, ensuring clear cost tracking and financial impact assessments.
  6. Collaborate with Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
  7. Educate plant personnel on key performance metrics to foster financial awareness across teams.

Key requirements

  • Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams, driving operational planning, cost savings, forecasting, and investment analysis in manufacturing.
