Lecturer, Rural (EF) – UNSW Rural, Wagga Wagga campus. This is a part-time (7 hours per week), fixed-term role until 30 June 2026.

Remuneration: $127,947 base pro-rata, plus 17% superannuation, leave loading and clinical loading (as appropriate)

Organization: UNSW Rural (Wagga Wagga campus) – UNSW Rural delivers the full 6-year medical course across rural campuses, emphasizing face-to-face teaching and engagement with the local medical community.

• Deliver high-quality teaching with a focus on local rural medical education.
• Contribute to the application of basic sciences for clinical competency and/or patient-centered interdisciplinary healthcare in practice.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and small-group teaching for the undergraduate program.
• Support recruitment and pathways for rural students, including participation in interview training and entry interviews (Rural Entry Admissions Pathway – REAP).
• Engage in educational activities to drive educational excellence within the university's teaching and learning communities.

• A BMed/MBBS (or equivalent) and a Fellowship of a Specialist Medical College; eligible for medical registration in New South Wales.
• Demonstrated record of effective practical face-to-face teaching and supervision at undergraduate level with a commitment to rural medical and health education.
• Ability to articulate and develop a teaching philosophy that fosters student learning.
• Experience in delivering lectures, tutorials, and small group teaching for an undergraduate program.
