Job Title: Director – Private Equity Advisory

Our Client

Our client is a leading global professional services firm with a rapidly growing Corporate Finance team in Dublin. The firm is currently focused on building out a highly specialised team focused on Business Performance Improvement and Value Creation Advisory. This team will play a key role in supporting Irish and international clients with complex financial situations.

Who should apply?

Candidates with the following experience would be well-suited:

  • 5–8 years' experience in Debt Advisory, Turnaround, or Performance Improvement
  • Debt Advisory, Restructuring, Turnaround, or Performance Improvement
  • Background in banking (leveraged finance, workout, portfolio management), private credit
  • Turnaround experience in PE backed companies
  • Background in banking (leveraged finance, workout, portfolio management), Big 4 advisory, or private credit
  • Deep understanding of cashflow modelling, capital structure and debt funding
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders under pressure
  • Interest in Private Equity-backed businesses and mid-market corporate clients

Role and Reporting Lines

This position reports directly to the Corporate Finance Partner. Responsibilities include:

  • Debt Advisory – Advise on capital structure solutions, private credit funding, and structured finance for stressed businesses
  • Liquidity & Cashflow Management – Deliver robust liquidity support tools including cashflows and cash optimisation strategies
  • Value Creation – Work on performance improvement initiatives to enhance EBITDA and working capital
  • Turnaround Projects – Engage in hands-on turnaround assignments for corporates and PE-backed entities
  • Client Engagement – Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in PE and corporate clients
  • Cross-Border Collaboration – Leverage the firm's UK and global network for international project delivery
  • Team Development – Mentor junior team members and contribute to the culture of a new high-performing team
  • Market Insight – Stay ahead of market developments and help shape the firm's proposition in this space
