Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Location: Navan, Co. Meath
Shift: Full and part time roles available for overnight shifts (9pm - 9am)
A Healthcare Assistant's primary purpose is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in their own home. Primary duties include implementing the client's care plan, performing identified care tasks, and promoting client comfort, dignity and wellbeing. Key qualities include compassion, kindness, empathy, patience and good communication to build rapport with clients.
Qualifications & ExperienceHealthcare Assistants must have either finished QQI approved Level 5 Modules Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support; or have a minimum of one year's experience caring for others and be willing to undertake the two qualification modules outlined above. Bluebird Care provides free QQI training for Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
