Overview

Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Part time roles available for overnight shifts (Every 2nd Saturday - Night shifts 9pm - 9am).

Job Location: Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath

Responsibilities

A Healthcare Assistant's primary purpose is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in their own home. Healthcare Assistants are responsible for the implementation of the requirements of the clients care plan, performing identified care duties and promoting client comfort, dignity and wellbeing. The essential qualities include genuine compassion, kindness, empathy and patience, and good communication to build rapport with others.

Qualifications & Experience

Healthcare Assistants must have either obtained QQI approved Level 5 Modules Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support; or have a minimum of one year's experience caring for others and be willing to undertake the two qualification modules outlined above. Bluebird Care will provide Free QQI Training for Care Skills & Care of the Older Person.
