My client is seeking a Project Engineer (contract) to manage and support capital and expense projects across Process, Utilities, and Automation/IT systems, from initiation through to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, meeting scope, financial, and schedule targets.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, internal policies, and regulations.

Collaborate with global teams in Engineering, EHS, and Procurement to align project goals.

Support or lead project development: scope definition, cost estimation, and business case preparation.

Manage project design, procurement, scheduling, execution, and closeout activities.

Develop budgets, control spend, and track cash flow using SAP and financial tools.

Identify and mitigate risks to minimize impact on cost, schedule, and operations.

Coordinate commissioning and validation support for equipment and systems.

Apply value engineering and seek innovative approaches to improve project outcomes.

Lead cross-functional teams and external contractors to deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3 years' project engineering/management experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

Strong understanding of full project life cycle and stage-gate processes.

Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholders.

Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and forecasting.

Desirable: SAP proficiency, biologics manufacturing experience, and familiarity with validation processes.
