You will join the existing team in delivering Installation commissioning, maintenance & repair services to Hitachi Energy Industrial & Utility customers throughout Ireland & Northern Ireland.**Location: Ireland (Hybrid), some travel to Dublin****(Please note we are unable to provide visa support for this position)****How you'll make an impact:*** Plan, prepare and coordinate pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up activities leading to project completion.* Develop and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan, covering all aspects of pre-commissioning and start-up phases through to handover.* Prepare and/or update a comprehensive commissioning manual. Develop a reporting structure and accountabilities for the commissioning team.* Plan and coordinate the commissioning/start up schedule and necessary work with third party providers. Develop pre-commissioning test procedures and documentation. Correct any deficiencies found. Ensure compliance and progress reports are produced in accordance with client and legislative requirements.* Liaise with government agencies where required to obtain necessary approvals prior to start-up. Prepare client acceptance forms and ensure satisfactory sign-off is obtained.* Develop comprehensive quality, environment and safety commissioning plans. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.**Your Background:*** Electrician with proven experience in HV power systems* Electrical Substation experience* Relay programming* Experience of 38/110/220kV Equipment.* Strong background in the power sector service & maintenance* Required technical skills and commercial acumen.* Experience in delivering technical reports and fault analysis.
