Baker - Grocery

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked products following established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure the bakery section is well-stocked, visually appealing, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Monitor product freshness, rotate stock, and minimise waste in line with best practices.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service, including handling custom orders and answering product queries.
• Collaborate with team members and support the wider store operations where needed.
• Maintain production logs and assist with stock control and ordering when required.

• Previous experience as a baker in a retail or commercial setting.
• A strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• High attention to detail and a passion for food quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• EU Citizenship or a Valid and unrestricted working visa. Sponsorship is not available.
