About The RoleEmerald Locums is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Dietitian in Paediatrics to join a dedicated healthcare team in Carlow. This is a long-term locum role (6-12 months) offering flexibility and a highly competitive pay rate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert nutritional care to paediatric patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist paediatric dietetic assessment, intervention, and management for children with a range of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement tailored nutritional plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work closely with paediatricians, nurses, speech and language therapists, and other allied health professionals.
- Support the development of best practices in paediatric nutrition and contribute to service improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinical and professional standards.
- CORU registration as a Dietitian.
- Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, with at least one year in a paediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
- Full driving licence (preferred) for those requiring mileage allowance.
- Excellent pay rates of €45-€55 per hour.
- Long-term locum stability (6-12 months).
- Mileage and accommodation allowances available for eligible candidates.
- Flexible working arrangements up to 35 hours per week.
