Pediatric Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Dietitian Specialist to join our client's dedicated healthcare team in Carlow. This long-term locum role offers flexibility and a highly competitive pay rate.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert nutritional care to paediatric patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nutrition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

1. Provide specialist paediatric dietetic assessment, intervention, and management for children with a range of medical conditions.
2. Develop and implement tailored nutritional plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
3. Work closely with paediatricians, nurses, speech and language therapists, and other allied health professionals.
4. Support the development of best practices in paediatric nutrition and contribute to service improvements.
5. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinical and professional standards.

1. CORU registration as a Dietitian.
2. Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, with at least one year in a paediatric setting preferred.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
5. Full driving licence (preferred) for those requiring mileage allowance.
