Automation Engineer - Ireland, Dublin - 12 Months Contract

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for anAutomation Engineer to work on an exciting CapEx project in Dublin on an initial 12 month contract. As Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this Automation Role role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support I&C team in the execution of loop check and CM SAT activities
  • Trouble-shoot issues as they arise in the field
  • Propose solutions and prepare Automation Change Packs to remedy issues
  • Assist with configuration of networked equipment such as Variable Frequency Drives, DOL starters,
  • Weigh Scales etc. (Ethernet/IP network)
Desirable Experience:
  • 'Hands-on' experience of Emerson DeltaV DCS system
  • 'Hands-on' experience of Emerson DeltaV CHARMs Remote I/O system
  • 'Hands-on' experience of Emerson DeltaV Control Studio
  • Knowledge of Emerson DeltaV Live graphics - helpful but not essential
  • Extensive experience in a GMP environment, preferably Pharma/Biopharma
  • Strong problem solving/trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team
