Overview

ACCPRO is working with a top tier global insurance client to recruit for a Finance Manager role. This is a newly created position and will be an initial 12-month contract with strong scope to extend. Candidates will need strong PQE within insurance/reinsurance, team management and technical accounting (IFRS/IFRS17) experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting – responsible for engaging with finance, actuarial and management teams across select subsidiaries to ensure the successful delivery of financial reporting requirements
  • Relationship Management - engaging with stakeholders across the group to manage interactions and ensure we achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Leadership and Mentoring – develop skillsets within the local and international financial reporting teams, provide training to grow the support capabilities across teams
  • Change Management – supporting strategic initiatives, ensure the right communication, planning and training/engagement is in place for successful change.
  • Problem Solving - ability to research, digest information and produce concrete solutions.
  • Quality & Delivery – hands on interest to ensure the final output meets the highest business value expectations

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with strong PQE in insurance
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge
