Financial Reporting Specialist: A Key Role in Accounting Management

The role of a Financial Reporting Specialist is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting matters and regulations in the US.

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Working closely with clients to maintain key relationships and provide exceptional service.
  • Supporting junior team members' development and ensuring high standards are consistently met.
  • Leading client engagements and managing projects effectively.
  • Delivering comprehensive training materials and high-quality collateral on financial reporting matters.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a large accountancy firm, and 1 year in a statutory accountant role. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and translation between US GAAP and IFRS is essential. Excellent research and communication skills are also required.

  • Professional certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA).
