Mason Hayes & Curran wish to appoint a Professional Regulatory Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Public, Regulatory and Investigations team. We are seeking an ambitious solicitor (5+ years PQE) with strong general experience in litigation and professional regulatory or healthcare law. This is a special opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in our Tier 1 ranked Public, Regulatory and Investigations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and preparing complaints for oral hearing before fitness to practise committees. This includes taking witness statements, briefing experts, briefing counsel and attending oral hearings.
• Drafting legal documents, to include notices of inquiry, special summonses, terms of undertakings, affidavits of service etc.
• Case management of disciplinary hearings, and High Court confirmation applications.
• Providing regulatory advice, protecting the interests of the regulators represented.
• Ongoing mentoring and training of Assistant Solicitors, Trainees and Legal Assistants, as appropriate.
• Pro-active, working collaboratively within a team environment.
