Overview

Customer Assistant - Food (Nights) - Douglas

Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Foods section, where you'll become a champion of our high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service. This role involves night shifts; the unsocial premium (£3.00 p/h) is added for hours worked between 22:00-06:00. Applicants must be aged 18 or over to comply with health and safety legislation.

Work Pattern
  • Thursday 21:00 - 06:00
  • Friday 21:00 - 06:00
  • Saturday 21:00 - 06:00

We are seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products and are excited to share it with our customers. You'll be a brand ambassador who's ready to recommend our newest Food products and ensure customers feel valued every time they shop with us.

Responsibilities
  • Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked
  • Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
  • Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
  • Utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer
