Description

Responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability of one RaceTrac store during designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will continually deliver on RaceTrac's mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, talent leadership, and driving success.

Responsibilities :

  1. Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experiences for guests.
  2. Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests.
  3. Communicate respectfully and maintain a consistent team-oriented attitude.
  4. Efficiently complete guest transactions at the cash register or self-checkout stations and suggest products that complement purchases.
  5. Address and resolve guest concerns on designated shifts with urgency, involving regional team members as needed.
  6. Monitor and adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local safety and food safety regulations.
  7. Ensure all food offerings are available.
  8. Maintain the store's cleanliness and stock levels to provide an elevated guest experience.
  9. Execute shift duties, uphold presentation standards, and represent the RaceTrac brand.
  10. Clean food preparation areas and equipment to RaceTrac standards.
  11. Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values: Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork.
  12. Exhibit RaceTrac's Leadership Qualities by acting with a servant-leader mentality, prioritizing tasks, going the extra mile for guests and team, listening, communicating respectfully, and solving problems proactively.
  13. Lead coaching, training, and assessment of direct reports while adhering to operational standards.
  14. Provide feedback and recommendations on employee performance and development to the General Manager.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed.
  • 2-3 years' work experience preferred.
  • 1+ years management experience preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environments preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach with minimal breaks.
  • May need to obtain and maintain a food handler permit, depending on local or state requirements.
  • May need to obtain and maintain an alcohol server permit, depending on local or state requirements.
