Associate Director, Operations - Private Markets Fund Manager

Our client, a leading private markets fund manager, is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Associate Director, Operations to join their newly established team in Dublin.

This firm is owned by a leading international group and Dublin is fully supported by HQ. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Europe based in Dublin to oversee the fund and middle office operations, driving operational excellence within the business.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in stakeholder and client management, with a proven ability to manage external client relationships and third-party vendor partnerships effectively.

Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the Sales and Investor Relations teams, contributing to the continued growth of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join an entrepreneurial and expanding organization, poised for growth across Europe.

The Candidate:
  • At min 5 years' experience within investment management and/or funds administration - operational management experience (end to end service) is essential.
  • Experience in alternative investments and private markets (private debt/private credit) is a distinct advantage.
  • Has worked in a regulated entity with experience in or exposure to AIFM, MIFID, UCITS and knowledge of CBI rules and requirements.
  • Broad business knowledge within the funds industry.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to effect change.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Hands on and willing to roll up their sleeves.

Please note you must be eligible and have a visa to work in Ireland - this is a pre-requisite.
