Facilities Technician (Mechanical or Electrical)

Working Pattern: Shift-based 24/7 Position 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts

About the Role:

We are seeking a Facilities Technician (Mechanical or Electrical) to play a key role in maintaining and operating plant equipment, utilities, and critical systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you'll contribute to the smooth and safe operation of essential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical plant equipment
  2. Respond to helpdesk requests and carry out daily operational checks
  3. Coordinate and oversee external contractors for maintenance activities
  4. Ensure all equipment operates safely and complies with legal and technical standards
  5. Support operational teams by resolving technical issues efficiently

What We're Looking For:

  1. Experience with plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, and water systems
  2. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
  3. Excellent customer service and a proactive, hands-on approach

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Engineering qualification or Level 6 trade equivalent
  2. Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or production environments preferred
  3. Familiarity with Maximo and GMP standards is a plus
