Overview

The opportunity is to join the Water Sector team as a Project Manager, working in a dynamic environment to manage multidisciplinary projects. You will ensure technical excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and on-time, on-budget delivery of water-related projects and programmes for key clients.

Stantec is an industry-leading consultancy within the Water Sector, involved in projects across water resources, wastewater networks and treatment, water treatment and supply, flood mitigation, and other specialist areas. This role is part of ongoing growth within the organisation.

As a Project Manager, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects at all stages of the project lifecycle. You will build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time, to cost, and to a high standard of quality. Excellent client service is a key expectation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of water sector projects and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks across these projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects across the lifecycle and support project management communities within Stantec.
About You
  • Prior experience in project management, ideally in water, energy, or other utility/infrastructure sectors.
  • Industry-recognised project management qualification such as the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or similar.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and building successful working relationships with stakeholders; strong track record in project management and proactive risk management.
  • Demonstrated passion for innovation and client service, with ambitions to contribute to the team's growth in the sector.
