Group Tax Accountant

A fantastic opportunity for a tax accountant to join the in-house tax function of a leading Irish business. Known for its supportive culture and strong focus on learning and development, this role is ideal for a newly qualified tax professional looking to grow their industry experience.
You'll be part of a welcoming tax team which is part of the wider finance function, and have the chance to collaborate across the business and gain valuable cross-functional exposure. The company promotes and maintains a sustainable work–life balance for its people.
About the position- Support the management of tax compliance obligations across the Group and all relevant tax heads
- Ensure the design, implementation, and execution of robust tax controls and processes
- Involvement in transfer pricing planning, compliance, and related documentation requirements
- Contribute to the design and execution of tax strategies that align with business objectives and optimize the Group's overall tax position
- Support and deliver on a range of tax planning initiatives and projects
- Lead the preparation and review of tax reporting for statutory audits and financial statements
- Manage tax audits and maintain effective communication with Irish and UK tax authorities as required
- Tax qualified professional with training completed within the corporate tax team of a big 4 or top 10 firm
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business
- A good team player along with the ability to work independently at times
- A curious mindset with an interest in learning and development
