Full-time 39 hours per week, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer

The ideal candidate will have an ability to maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. They should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different departments within the business.

Qualifications:

Hons. Business Degree, Batchelor of Business – Level 7 or similar

Experience:

Minimum of three years business management and team management experience in the leisure, sport or hospitality industry or other industry experience with people management and roster experience

Key Competencies: Team leadership, adaptability, integrity, strong IT skills and written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership & Staff Management: be directly responsible for a team of seven full and part time operational staff; lead and manage all staff members when on duty in conjunction with the other Duty Managers;
  2. Business Development: maintain and grow the existing programs and customer bookings while driving the development of innovative new services;
  3. Customer Service: demonstrate customer service excellence by example; handle all indoor sports hall and outdoor facility customer enquiries;
  4. Financial Performance: maintain budgetary control and adherence, achieve income targets and manage expenditure;
  5. Health and Safety: ensure Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times; implement Health and Safety management systems and related procedures;
  6. Facility Management: support the smooth running of the full facility while on duty including gym, pool, outdoor venues and indoor facilities; ensure all areas and departments within the full facility are operated and maintained to the highest standards when on duty and ensure regulatory compliance;
  7. Admin responsibility - bookings/activities/events: ensure all bookings, events and activities are accurately recorded, input and communicated to the accounts and management teams;
