Client: Leading Irish Building Envelope Contractor

Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Irish Building Envelope Contractor specializing in roofing, cladding, and full building envelope solutions. With a strong reputation in the industry, they collaborate with top-tier contractors and have successfully delivered large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data centre projects across both Ireland and Europe.

The Role:

Due to a significant pipeline of work, our client is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team, working on designing full building envelope solutions across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in facades, cladding, or roofing, with proficiency in BIM and Revit.

This role involves working closely with the Design Manager, contributing to technical detailing and project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the Design function, ensuring that all of their work aligns with the firm\'s high standards and their clients\' expectations when it comes to Digital Project Delivery and BIM.

Required Background:

  • A relevant degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or similar
  • 3+ years' experience in the industry
  • Revit experience is a must
  • Prior exposure to the design of Cladding, Roofing and/or facades is highly beneficial
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to achieve project deadlines
  • Must be able to convey accurate information to different stakeholders effectively
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Self-Driven and willingness to learn, adopting a 'can-do' mentality and work ethic
