What does this role entail

Are you an experienced Technical Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Are you naturally curious and a lifelong learner? If you enjoy working with cutting-edge AI tooling (e.g., Copilot and Cursor) or contributing to AI-powered products and intelligent agents using GenAI — including platforms like AWS, Bedrock, and Hugging Face, and models like Claude and Llama — we would love to hear from you.

As a Technical Team Lead at Fenergo, you will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration, growth, and technical excellence. You will own multiple technical services in production, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and continuously improved to meet our customers\' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to build a world-class product
• Own technical domains, ensure architectures are up to date, maintainable, and reliable in production
• Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and leadership to deliver high-quality software
• Act as the authority on tech stack, drive best practices, and review designs across teams
• Drive testing strategy, define CI/CD approach, and shape the infra strategy for the team
• Align technical vision with business goals and actively contribute to product direction with Product Owners

Qualifications & requirements

• 2+ years Tech Lead experience with a track record of leading high-performing engineering teams
• Strong experience developing multi-layer systems using C#.NET or Python
• Experience building or delivering AI products
• Proactive contributor to product direction; does not defer all decisions to the PO
• Full-stack experience (backend, frontend, testing, deployment)
• Ability to reason about complex systems and identify simplifications
• Collaborative mindset across engineering, product, sales, and leadership
• Experience using cloud computing and cloud-based services to deliver software
• Experience using AI to help build software
