We're looking for a Senior Manager to join our Valuation Services practice that prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes.

Day-to-day Responsabilities

  • Independently perform complex valuation engagements for diverse corporate clients.
  • Oversee daily execution of transactions in secondary markets for limited partnership interests in hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and shares in private companies.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' business models, strategies, and industry challenges.
  • Act as a key interlocutor with clients, listening and analyzing their needs to offer valuable solutions.
  • Efficiently organize engagement work and provide clear guidelines to team members.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff in analyses, reports, and presentations.
  • Prepare and present engagement deliverables clearly and concisely to clients.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a direct contact for current and prospective clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and draft proposals, presentations, and publications for clients.

Essential Traits
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 5 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset models
  • CFA and/or CPA professional designations a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring and developing staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
  • Experience working with diverse teams
