This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring safety standards are maintained across all our sites. Candidate must have Irish Health & Safety experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implementing and monitoring site-specificHealth & Safety plans.
  • Keeping detailed records of inspection results and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Organising, attending, and chairing safety meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment on safety practices.
  • Providing ongoing Health & Safety training and support to staff and subcontractors.
  • Reporting and investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring appropriate follow-up and preventative measures.
  • Ensuring all equipment is safe to operate, working closely with site managers and maintenance teams.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all safety documentation, inspections, and audits.
  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety legislation and company policies in accordance with Health & Safety Authority requirements.

Qualifications And Experience
  • Anaccredited degree or diplomainOccupational Health & Safetyor a related field (recognised by the Health & Safety Authority).
  • Previous experience as aHealth & Safety Officerin theconstruction industry, preferably with a Main Contractor on residential developments.
  • Strong knowledge of IrishHealth & Safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have full clean driving licence and access to a car
  • Minimum 5 years' experience required
