Overview

Job title: Head of Financial & Management Reporting.

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid). Sector: PE backed tech company (former PLC). This is a senior finance leadership role reporting to the founders and a VC/PE firm, with responsibility for the financial and management reporting framework and strategic financial leadership to support growth and expansion plans.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting - Preparation of quarterly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to set realistic budgets and forecasts; investigate variances.
  • Ensure financial compliance across various structures.
  • Finance operations - hands-on involvement as required.
  • Banking - quarterly banking compliance certificate completions; manage senior debt function.
  • Fundraising - understand banking facility agreements and oversee lenders and funding options available in the Irish market.
  • Tax planning, liaising with tax advisors.
  • Ad hoc project work as requested by the VC firm.
Who should apply / Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant who trained in a Big 4/Top 6 firm.
  • Industry experience or working in FAAS of a large firm.
  • Strong grounding in financial reporting.
  • Prior experience reporting to a Board or VC/PE firm.
  • Proven track record in delivering operational excellence.
  • Ability to partner with key internal and external stakeholders.
