Base pay rangeWe are looking for a confident and capable Store Lead Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to guide a team to success. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong commercial awareness, solid operational discipline, and the ability to drive both people and performance.
As Store Lead Manager, you'll take full ownership of day-to-day store operations, team development, customer experience, and compliance. Responsibilities- Set and maintain high standards across all areas of the store-presentation, service, and performance.
- Build a customer-first culture where quality service and experience are consistently delivered.
- Ensure operational policies, safety procedures, and food safety standards (HACCP) are strictly upheld.
- Recruit, coach, and lead a motivated team, providing feedback, structure, and ongoing development.
- Monitor sales trends and make proactive decisions to maximise store performance.
- Delegate tasks effectively, aligning responsibilities with team strengths and business needs.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and take full responsibility for store financial performance.
- Plan resources strategically and manage staffing levels to support operational demands.
- Foster a collaborative environment with a strong team ethic and shared accountability.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a busy retail setting.
- A proven ability to inspire, support, and get the best out of your team.
- Strong commercial awareness with a history of driving sales and efficiency improvements.
- Experience in rota planning, scheduling, and long-term workforce coordination.
- A commitment to outstanding customer service and consistent team delivery.
- Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving on the shop floor.
- Knowledge of planograms and visual merchandising standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional leadership style.
