We are currently recruiting for a fast-growing, Irish-founded beauty brand that's globally loved for its high-performance, trend-led cosmetics and self-care ranges.
They are seeking a commercially driven Senior National Account Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a powerful portfolio of brands and be instrumental in driving retail growth and strategic customer partnerships across key UK and Irish retailers and grocer accounts.
They are a scaling, founder-led beauty brand known bridging the gap between everyday beauty enthusiasts and professional makeup artists, with products that empower. Their products are now sold internationally in over 2000+ stores and online, including the likes of Sephora, Boots, Look Fantastic and Primark.
As the Senior National Account Manager, you will report to the Director of International Sales and play a pivotal role in delivering commercial growth across wholesale and retail accounts. You will manage a small team, oversee key retailer relationships, and collaborate closely with marketing and cross-functional departments to activate and execute best-in-class plans.
The role is fast-paced and hands-on, offering strategic ownership of key grocery and distribution channels, while contributing to overall company growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial partnerships with major retail and grocery accounts, aligning activity with annual sales targets.
- Unlock new opportunities across distribution partners while nurturing existing relationships.
- Develop and support a high-performing sales team, coaching them to hit wholesale and growth targets.
- Monitor and analyse account performance including sales forecasting, margin, and profitability reporting.
- Own customer planning, forward forecasting, and promotional strategies to ensure business continuity and revenue growth.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to support retail activation and in-store excellence.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on all commercial initiatives, activations, and timelines.
- Provide regular reporting and visibility into the sales pipeline.
- Act as the sales lead cross-functionally, ensuring smooth collaboration with Finance, Operations, and NPD teams.
- Oversee operational efficiencies to ensure best-in-class customer service across all accounts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a National Account or Key Account Management role, ideally within the beauty, FMCG, or retail sector.
- Background in managing and developing a sales team.
- Commercially astute, with experience owning and negotiating with large-scale retail accounts.
- Strong track record of delivering sales performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and forecasting skills.
- Confident working cross-functionally and liaising with senior internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Sage, Mintsoft, or Canva is desirable.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused with a structured, organised approach.
- Familiarity with the Irish retail landscape is a plus but not essential.
