Project Engineer–E&I - Ireland, Cork - 12 Months Initial Contract

Are you interested in joining a world leading biopharmaceutical company, focused on developing advanced and innovative treatments for those suffering with rare diseases? This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility in Cork. You will be joining a leading Biopharmaceutical company who focus on a range of products which are life-changing for individuals. Our client is currently seeking Project Engineer – E&I.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Participate in Design, Construction and C&Q activities on site.
  • Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement.
  • Assist the Capital Projects Manager in the planning and tracking of activities.
  • Liaise with the various stakeholders on the projects to ensure clear communication between all parties.
  • Provide technical process support to the project team throughout the project life cycle.
  • Generate and execute Commissioning & Qualification activities if there is a requirement.
  • Generate change controls on Electronic QMS and drive their closure in a timely manner.
  • Review turnover documentation from vendors.
  • Direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects.
  • Use of Permit to Work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities.
  • Management of capital and cost benefit analysis.
  • Participation in HAZOP and design reviews.
  • Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Capital project execution and delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge in E&I Design and installation.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech sectors.
  • Experience working in large teams.
  • Experience with Fire Alarm, Access Control, Lighting, BMS and general services design and handover.
