As a progressive Building Services Engineering Consultancy, IN2 Engineering has a proven track record of delivering award-winning, low-energy building design and energy projects across multiple sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a talented Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our Dublin office.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment, taking an active role in project leadership and client-facing activities.

The Role

We are currently looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to assist in the effective delivery of projects across a range of sectors, including Commercial, Civic & Cultural, Education, and Healthcare.

You will play a key role in the design team, supporting project delivery from concept through to completion, while also gaining exposure to resource management, planning, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the design team across a variety of projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in all stages.
  • Develop project scope with the design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Support senior engineers in resource management and planning to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide fully detailed tender packages and oversee installation/quality on-site through to project completion.
Your Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within an engineering consultancy or practice.
  • Experience in project delivery from concept to completion.
  • Ability to present and communicate ideas effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work within a vibrant and collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT (preferred but not essential).
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to work on own initiative and a drive for continuous improvement.
