A leading engineering consultancy in Dublin is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its Building Services team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in electrical design who is eager to grow their expertise in sustainable building services and environmental performance. You'll work alongside senior engineers on high-profile projects in the healthcare, education, and commercial office sectors. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to take the next step in their career, with support from experienced mentors and exposure to a variety of complex, multidisciplinary projects. Role & Responsibilities Assist in the development of electrical design solutions for buildings of various scales Support environmental performance assessments such as daylight and overheating analysis Contribute to the design of energy-efficient electrical systems Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams Attend design meetings and site visits with senior team members Participate in quality checks and ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering 24 years of experience in electrical services design, preferably within a consultancy Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux, or similar tools (IES experience a bonus but not essential) Understanding of Irish building regulations and sustainable design principles Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Actively pursuing chartership (support will be provided) Benefits Competitive salary (€45K€65K, DOE) Flexible and hybrid working options Ongoing CPD and career development support Mentorship from senior team members Opportunity to work on sustainability-led design projects Collaborative and supportive team environment To Apply: If youre an Electrical Engineer looking to grow your career in a supportive, progressive consultancy, please send your CV to Grace Birch or call for a confidential discussion.
