Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale data processing systems, ETL processes, or data warehousing.
• Familiarity with geospatial data formats (e.g., vector, raster) and concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working with both internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex data-related issues, make logical trade-offs, and effectively manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency in a scripting language for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical specialists and engineering teams to define requirements for new workflows that improve data processing efficiency and quality.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations on data initiatives, project status, and performance metrics to a broad audience.
• Engage with internal stakeholder teams and external data partners to ensure the successful integration of data, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
• Execute well-defined projects within to process third-party data for Google Maps.
• Manage the life cycle of data processing projects by defining insightful metrics and project plans, tracking milestones, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
