Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client on a consultancy basis. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to define, document, and deliver business and functional requirements across a variety of projects. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, operate autonomously, and add immediate value within an Agile environment.

This role will operate on a hybrid model, with at least 2 days in the Dublin office per week.

• Define, document, and deliver business and functional requirements across multiple projects in collaboration with business stakeholders and technology teams.
  
• Work autonomously and hit the ground running in an Agile environment.
  
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technology functions to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
  
• Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  
• Write and manage user stories and backlogs; support product owners, delivery managers, and development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle.
  
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions; assist with sprint planning and refinement meetings.
  
• Ensure traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions; collaborate with QA/test teams to ensure testable and high-quality deliverables.
  
• Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and leadership on business analysis best practice.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement or automation and translate them into actionable initiatives.
  

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in complex enterprise environments.
  
• Proven ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple initiatives.
  
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  
• Hands-on Agile experience (Scrum or SAFe preferred), including writing user stories and managing backlogs.
  
• Experience with business process modelling, gap analysis, and documenting workflows.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical mindset.
  
• Ability to elicit, document, and validate requirements across business and technology functions.
