Role overview

Audit Associate – responsibilities include delivering audit work, documenting procedures, and contributing to team reviews, in order to support high-quality, evidence-based conclusions for client engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Complete audit programmes by undertaking tasks allocated and signing off to evidence completion
  • Document fully work completed
  • Conclude on each individual test and sections
  • Highlight issues and problems for attention
  • Review working papers of more junior staff where agreed
  • Obtain information and explanations from client staff
  • Establish relationship points for trainees
  • Resolve queries whether of an audit or accountancy nature
Qualifications
  • Be Part Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA
  • Have demonstrable audit experience gained within a professional services firm
  • Have a track record of strong academic performance
