Job Summary:

Park Hotel Kenmare is seeking a skilled and professional Spa Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wellness and beauty, providing high-quality spa treatments to our clients. You will be responsible for delivering a range of therapies, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other spa services while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a variety of spa treatments such as massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, and other therapeutic services.
  2. Conduct client consultations to determine their individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
  3. Maintain a clean, organised, and serene spa environment.
  4. Educate clients on available spa services, treatments, and aftercare.
  5. Ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation standards are met.
  6. Recommend suitable products and services to clients to enhance their wellness experience.
  7. Uphold excellent customer service and professional behaviour at all times.
  8. Manage spa equipment and inventory, ensuring all tools and products are in optimal condition.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and wellness practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience as a Spa Therapist or in a similar role is preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, skincare treatments, and holistic therapies.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Professional demeanour with a client-focused approach.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  7. Knowledge of spa products and the ability to upsell effectively.
  8. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not mandatory).
