Person in Charge (Social Care Manager) - Cavan

CPL Healthcare is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the position of Person in Charge from experienced Social Care Professionals on behalf of our client.

The successful candidate will work for a well-established client who is expanding and has opened a new service for displaced children and young people separated from their families and place of origin, seeking asylum, and preparing them for onward placement. The residential unit is located near Ballinagh, Co. Cavan.

Key requirements include:

  • A recognised Level 8 Social Care qualification.
  • For Level 7 Social Care qualifications, a management qualification is also required.
  • At least five years' direct experience working in residential childcare and/or managing services for vulnerable children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Word, Adobe, Excel, etc.
  • A full, clean driving licence held for more than one year.

Salary: €38,000 - €51,000 per year

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Cavan, Ireland.
