Data Operations Analyst

Location: Dublin, hybrid 1 week onsite p/m
Employment Type:12 contract
Rate: Up to €475 per day

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Investment Data Operations Analyst to join our team in Dublin. This is a critical operations role responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of investment data used across the business. You'll perform data analysis, resolve data issues, support helpdesk queries, and contribute to continuous process and data improvements.

What You'll Do
  • Process daily operational tasks and respond to helpdesk requests with speed and accuracy.
  • Identify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, data vendors, and stakeholders to maintain high data quality.
  • Document and update operational processes and support onboarding of new data workflows.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to data quality initiatives and support user acceptance testing for improvements.
  • Monitor helpdesk queues and escalate issues when needed.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices.


What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Investment Banking, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in mutual fund operations or a similar operations/data role within financial services.
  • Familiarity with investment vehicle data types including securities, mutual funds, indices, composites, and reference data.
  • Proficiency in SQL; experience with R, Python, or RStudio is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset are highly valued.
