Role Summary: As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in leveraging data to optimize manufacturing processes, drive strategic decisions, and enhance operational efficiency. You will be responsible for designing and developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI. You will work closely with Data Architects and Data Scientists to ensure seamless data integration, reporting accuracy, and insightful analysis to support stakeholders across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects (BO) to enable real-time decision-making.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including manufacturing systems, ERP, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with Data Architects, Data Scientists, and IT teams to develop data pipelines and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
  • Implement and manage Visualization-as-a-Service solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Apply DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Tableau Data Models to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Leverage Python or R to develop custom visuals and advanced analytics solutions for Power BI and Tableau.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance best practices in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry setting.
  • Support Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business stakeholders to iteratively enhance data solutions and analytics capabilities.
  • Provide training and support to end users on data analytics tools and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role within the pharmaceutical, regulated industries, or supply chain sectors.
  • Strong experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects (BO).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and experience deploying and managing Visualization-as-a-Service solutions.
  • Understanding of DAX query models and Tableau Data Models.
  • Experience working with custom visuals in Python or R for Power BI and advanced analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and an ability to work in an iterative development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply chain domain knowledge, particularly within a manufacturing or biotech environment.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques for data-driven process optimization.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance in GxP environments and data integrity principles.
